No mention of the verb 'to blog'

dictionary

In my Concise Oxford Dictionary Tenth (with addenda) edition reissued with new title & jacket 2002, there is NO mention of the verb ‘to blog’, the noun ‘blog’, the noun ‘blogger’. Can it really have taken so little time for such change?

My dictionary will be updated, one day soon, I hope, because there it is still great pleasure to be had in lifting it down and leafing through the fine pages, seeking out a word. I wonder what words my next edition will miss?

In the meantime, the verb ‘to read’, the noun, ‘reader’, remain reassuringly constant. It’s the process of written communication, everytime, regardless of format.
